A well-designed bedroom is one in which all the elements come together to form a cohesive whole. The 120-cm-wide Sova bed, with its wide upholstered headboard and side extensions, creates the look of custom-built furniture that organizes the space around your resting area. • The 120 cm width offers more space than a classic single bed, while still working well in smaller rooms. The model is also available in widths of 140, 160, and 180 cm.
• The simple, wide, upholstered headboard with extensions consists of a headboard that matches the width of the bed, two upholstered side panels, and two headboard extensions. A basic version (with just the headboard) or a version with the headboard and side panels is also available.
• The Sova collection also features beds with other headboard options—including a taller, upholstered “Soft” headboard with a rounded finish and a simple panel headboard. Each variant is available in four widths and lends the bedroom a distinct character.
• Headboard extensions allow for the installation of electrical outlets and light switches. This lets you conveniently use lighting and devices without having to get out of bed. You’ll need to arrange for the electrical installation yourself by hiring a qualified electrician.
• If you like to keep a book, phone, or glass of water within reach, you can use the rear elements attached to the straight headboard. During assembly, you decide whether they will serve as a practical shelf or as a discreet spacer between the headboard and the wall.
• The bed can be equipped with a fixed base under the mattress or a lift-up frame. The version with a lift-up frame allows you to use the space under the mattress as a spacious storage compartment. The mattress must be purchased separately, allowing you to choose the model that best suits your needs.
• The Sova bed offers a choice of three height settings relative to the floor. You can opt for a version without a base or with a base that can be mounted at two different levels during assembly. Additionally, you can choose the height at which the bed frame is mounted, allowing you to perfectly adjust the bed’s height to your height and how you use it. A lower setting creates a floating effect, while a higher setting provides more storage space under the mattress.
• The backrest and base lighting subtly accentuate the bed’s design and create a pleasant atmosphere in the bedroom after dark. You can select the lighting as an optional extra in the configurator. The set includes LED strips, a power supply, and two switches with a dimming function—one on each side of the bed. This allows you to conveniently control the lighting from both sides.
• If you need extra space for your essentials, you can complement the bed with freestanding nightstands from the Sova collection. They feature two drawers with a push-to-open system that allows you to open the fronts with a light press. In the version with extensions, it is not possible to install wall-mounted nightstands.
• Freestanding nightstands can be configured with or without a base, making it easy to adjust their height to match your chosen bed variant and maintain a consistent look throughout the entire bedroom set.
• The body colors can be easily paired with other VOX furniture, such as pieces from the Well and 4 You Fresh collections, as well as select colors from the Simple collection, making it easy to create harmonious arrangements.
